Heimtextil Trends 2021-22: Nothing New, Everything New
The Trend Book for the 2021 Heimtextil is available already now. The 2021-22 book contains detailed descriptions of the various trends and is supplemented by a valuable collection of material images and colours. During the fair, the Trend Presentation reveals ways in which the current trends could be implemented in practice – with elaborate trend worlds and a high-grade programme of lectures.
Trends 2021-22: NOTHING NEW, EVERYTHING NEW
For many years, the lifestyle industry has asked “what is new this season?”. Newness and cultural erosion are core drivers of lifestyle products, and the foundation of this began in the 20th century when shopping shifted from necessity-driven to pleasure-driven, and consumer products were no longer made to last a lifetime. Now is the time for a new perception of new itself, as both consumers and the industry are beginning to change existing systems and ways of working in different ways. The Heimtextil Trends book aims to inspire but also inform, so that you can create long term ideas in line with future consumer behaviour and design, material and colour trends.
The book is a collaboration of various international agencies, including Franklin & Till, Stijlinstituut Amsterdam and SPOTT Trends.
